Millward Brown conducted their annual BrandZ Global Valuation study which aims to identify the financial significance of household brands. As far as the automotive industry goes, Toyota came out on top in the BrandZ study thanks to the quality of their vehicles and the confidence consumers have in the brand. Garnering the most valuable car brand status is a significant stride for Toyota who had occupied the coveted number spot from 2006 to 2009 and then surrendered it after an unfortunate recall in 2010. But thanks to the automaker’s resilience, interviews with more than one million consumers worldwide and an analysis of financial and business performance, Toyota is once again recognized as the world’s most valuable car brand.
Toyota reasserted their position as the most valuable car brand thanks in part to vehicles at your Salt Lake City minivan dealer, like the 2011 Sienna. The Sienna has been praised for its practicality, style and a combination of performance and efficiency. The car comes standard with a 2.7-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 187 horsepower and is available with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers an impressive 265 horsepower. Both engines are paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and come with a front-wheel drive system or an all-wheel drive system. Despite the more than adequate power, fuel efficiency is uncompromised. Rated at 18 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway, the Sienna is one minivan that won’t cost a fortune at the gas pumps.
The outside of the Sienna is a contributor to Toyota’s most valuable car brand status as well as the reinvention of the minivan status. It’s easy to dismiss the idea of a sporty minivan, but the Sienna manages to pull it off. The minivan’s slightly curved chrome grille and wrap-around head lamps create an elegant, sporty appeal new to the minivan segment. High-set, defined character lines sit atop the Sienna’s shoulder contribute to the car’s sporty appeal while the privacy glass on the rear windows create a sophisticated profile. From the rear, a tinted black window and curved taillights reinforce the Sienna’s upscale allure while the body colored bumper exposes the car’s more athletic appearance.
The long list of high-tech features offered at your Salt Lake City car dealers is another of the Sienna’s strong point. Triple-zone air conditioning, full power accessories, cruise control and a telescoping steering wheel are some of the features that come standard with the Sienna. Optional accessories include leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, wood grain trim, rain sensing wipers, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system and a navigation system with a backup camera. Draper residents can choose from a seven passenger or eight passenger model, both of which have a second row of captain’s chairs which make for easy access to the third row of seats.
The performance, efficiency, style and practicality of the Sienna are features offered in all models at local Toyota Salt Lake City car dealers which contribute to the automaker’s most valuable car brand status. In addition to manufacturing quality cars and resonating well with consumers, BrandX’s study found Toyota’s financial and business performance to be outstanding. Toyota’s brand value has increased by 11% this year which translates to $24.2 billion dollars. Whether on the market for a new or used car, in the states or abroad, consumers can’t go wrong with Toyota, the World’s most valuable car brand.
