Hackensack Used Dodge Drivers Can Better Understand Their Car With New Mobile Apps

Technology is taking a new role in the auto industry. Yes, we’re seeing the role of fuel efficient technology amplified in a big way. But new and used Hackensack car dealers are gearing up to give tech geeks a good laugh and the rest of the driving public a wake-up call. Mobile technology is beginning to play a crucial role in everything we do from eating to driving. Some new announcements have shown that new applications enable drivers to actually control their cars remotely. Now, new and used Hackensack Dodge dealers are about to feature a wide range of applications that will actually help drivers learn more about their Chrysler vehicles, in conjunction with its aftermarket division Mopar.

In a recent webcast, Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar, explained in further detail, saying, “We are taking owner information and customer care to a new level.” He also broke the news that this new application is one of the first in the industry like it. We are creating a channel of communication with customers about brands, vehicles and customer care.”

The application will cover things like vehicle owner information, aftermarket customization product catalogues, connections with other owners, product-feature video demonstrations, 24-hour roadside assistance, access to customer care and a slew of other vehicle-oriented resources all things that bring a smile to the face of each Hackensack used car driver. The product will be launched in conjunction with Tweddle Group as part of the debut of the new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is already available through the iStore for iPhone owners, and BlackBerry and Android users can purchase it in the near future if they are on AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile or Sprint networks. This is big news for Hackensack used Dodge owners, who might think about ditching that old car for a nice new Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Gorlier helped put the app in full perspective, saying that it can also be used on the iPad. “However, similar to all other apps, imagery from apps cannot be fully optimized on the iPad.” As far as he is concerned, he doesn’t see the app being a problem in terms of slowing traffic to dealerships. “We think it will enhance the traffic, giving the customer the opportunity to learn about the vehicle on their smartphone first and then visit the dealership to experience the vehicle.”

In terms of future platforms for the application, the brand says that it will see the light of day for Chrysler, Dodge, Ram Truck, Fiat and Jeep vehicles universally by the end of the year all of which are brands featured at your Hackensack used car dealer. But don’t worry; the brands will still offer the physical user guide for people that might not have jumped onto the smartphone trend. Still, we see this as a huge step forward for Chrysler as a whole, something that should help prepare all of the cars under the Chrysler umbrella into the new age of driving and the new age of technology, for that matter.
