Mahindra Thar Launched With Air Conditioner/heater

Mahindra and Mahindra, the home grown auto maker is known for manufacturing world class SUVs and MPVs in India. The auto maker has now launched its popular off roader Mahindra Thar with the Ac feature which was earlier absent in the vehicle. Mahindra Thar price for the new variant with air conditioner is placed at Rs 6.75 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai). The new Cool Thar CRDe 4X4 BS4 is the name of the new variant. Mahindra Thar CRDe has already carved a niche for itself in the utility vehicle segment, the vehicle is extremely popular is rural markets and this new variant with air conditioner has made it more irresistible.
Mahindra Thar CRDe will come affixed with a factory befitted air conditioner/heater that can help you save from the scorching sun outside and you get a comfortable drive in nail biting chilling winters. Along with this the vehicle also got the immobiliser that acts as an anti theft feature. Mahindra and Mahindra also revealed the Mahindra Thar Expedition which is a bespoke version of the AC Thar. The off-road Thar comes equipped with special features that include front bulbar with an incorporated electric winch, rock soliders, snorkel, expedition carrier and roll cage.On the occasion of the launch of new Cool Thar with air conditioner one of the company officials said that the company constantly keeps incorporating the changes in its vehicles as per the customers’ requirements.

Mahindra has been riding high on the success of its flagship SUV Mahindra XUV 500 that was launched in India in the month of September last year. Launched at an introductory price of Rs 10.80 lakh (ex-showroom price), the company got handful of bookings, the second phase of bookings opened in the month of January 2012 that too through a lottery system. The lottery system was used keeping in mind the immense popularity of the vehicle. The SUV has also been launched in South Africa and is getting good response there also. Mahindra’s other popular SUV Scorpio is also up for a makeover, Mahindra is apparently developing a replacement for the Scorpio SUV which could be launched in the coming time. Mahindra SUV was launched in India around a decade ago and ever since its launch it has received a lot of facelifts. The popularity of this SUV grew immensely and is one of the popular SUVs in India.
